The Transonic 240 emits ultrasounds that are imperceptible to the human ear and harmless to dogs, cats, fish, and farm animals. These sounds bounce off smooth surfaces but are absorbed by soft materials such as carpets and curtains, without passing through walls or ceilings. Due to the continuous frequency variation, pests are unable to adapt and are forced to leave the treated environment, which has become hostile to them. Since they can no longer perceive the surrounding dangers, their behavior is altered, prompting them to leave the occupied premises. For optimal coverage, it is recommended that the device be placed in an environment free of obstacles that could attenuate its effectiveness.

The Transonic 240 covers an area of about 60 m² and should be placed between 20 and 50 cm above the ground for maximum effectiveness. To activate it, insert 4 “C” batteries and turn the switch to “ON”: the red indicator light will confirm proper operation. The device is maintenance-free and should remain on 24 hours a day, moving it from time to time for more effective coverage. To optimize results, it is advisable to place several devices in adjacent rooms and on each floor of the building. The first effects will be visible after about two weeks, but to prevent the return of insects, it is recommended to keep the device in operation even after their removal. Do not use in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or particularly humid rooms.
