Aquatain AMF®

Aquatain AMF® is a unique, next-generation product for mosquito larva control, eco-friendly and environmentally respectful. It is a silicone-based liquid that can be easily applied to the surface of stagnant and still waters, forming a very thin film that covers the entire water surface. It works through a physical-mechanical action, with persistence and effectiveness lasting at least 4 weeks. In compliance with current regulations, Aquatain AMF® is safe for health and has no negative effects on the aquatic environment. It is suitable for use in still and stagnant waters such as lakes, reservoirs, rice fields, sewers, drains, manholes, channels, water tanks, plant saucers, buckets, septic tanks, tires, gutters, and more.

The thin silicone film that forms on the water surface after application prevents the proper development of immature mosquito stages (larvae and pupae). It inhibits larvae and pupae from correctly absorbing atmospheric oxygen necessary for their development into adults. Additionally, the reduced surface tension affects egg-laying behavior, as adult females do not lay eggs on treated water.
Apply 1 ml of product undiluted per m² of stagnant water surface.
For manholes, drains, and street grates, apply 1-5 ml (recommended dose 2 ml) of product undiluted, depending on the amount of organic matter present.
