Effervescent mosquito larvicide tablets
Aedex® is suitable for the treatment of stagnant water bodies, whether small or large, that are not used as drinking water, nor for keeping ornamental fish, but that provide a breeding ground for mosquito larvae for temporary or extended periods. These include garden ponds, fountains, out-of-service swimming pools, rainwater drains, and other natural or artificial water containers suitable for water storage. Treated water must not be connected to natural water bodies or purification systems.
Aedex® begins releasing the active ingredient upon contact with water; therefore, the tablet must be fully immersed. For maximum effectiveness, start treatment before the mosquito season, at the appearance of the first larvae. The treatment should be repeated monthly throughout the season (from April to October). Do not use treated water for irrigating edible plants (vegetables, herbs, etc.). Recommended dosage: 1 tablet of 2 g per 1000 liters of water. The product is intended for use in waters where mosquito larvae are present. Before starting treatment, estimate the volume of water to be treated.
